The Department of Biostatistics at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital invites applications for multiple faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant or Associate Member (equivalent to Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor) level, depending on qualifications and experience.
We are looking for candidates with collaborative research interests in psychology, neurocognitive research, cancer clinical trials, clinical and molecular infectious diseases, immunology and basic science research. Desirable candidates should have experience and expertise in clinical trial designs focusing on early phase trials, precision oncology trials and pragmatic trials, psychometrics, causal inference, omics data and innovative statistical modeling in clinical and basic science. Expertise of artificial intelligence and machine learning in medicine, and real-world evidence would be a plus.
The department currently consists of fifty-eight faculty and staff: eleven faculty, three post-doctoral fellows, twenty-five master’s level biostatisticians, eight computer scientists and several administrative staff.
Applicants must demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills, have interest in biomedical collaborations, and be proficient in statistical computing. Compensation and benefits are very competitive and commensurate with experience.
