The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at St. Jude Children's Hospital is seeking a clinical track neuropathologist at the assistant, associate or full member level.
Applicants should have a strong interest in the diagnosis and biology of pediatric brain tumors. While the main component of the position is devoted to the diagnostic service, there will be opportunities for independent research studies and collaborative research within the Neurobiology and Brain Tumor Program (NBTP).
St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is one of the premier pediatric cancer hospitals in the United States with leaders in both clinical and basic science. Strong interdepartmental programs are present in pediatric solid tumors, hematological malignancies, neuro-oncology / development neurobiology, and molecular oncogenesis. Clinical and basic research activities are carried out in adjacent state-of-the-art buildings on the St. Jude campus, which provides an environment to foster close collaboration between clinical and basic science investigators.
