The Division of Experimental Hematology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is recruiting for a Full or Associate Member (equivalent to Professor or Associate Professor) to lead a research program in cellular and molecular hematology. Current interests in the Division include basic research in hematopoietic stem cell biology and developmental hematopoiesis as well as translational research in non-malignant hematology including sickle cell disease, bone marrow failure and pre-leukemia syndromes.
We are searching for candidates with expertise in hematopoiesis, including those who leverage induced pluripotent stem cells for studies of developmental hematopoiesis and blood diseases and other areas that complement existing Divisional research. Successful applicants must hold a PhD, MD and/or equivalent degree, have at least three years of relevant postgraduate experience, and have a proven track record of productivity.
The candidate is expected to direct a well-funded and productive research laboratory and to make seminal advances in the hematology field. Faculty rank will be commensurate with number of years of experience and accomplishments.
